I have been interested in street art for a long time and have been taking photographs everywhere I go.

I started in 1998 and already have a large collection of photographs, many digital, 35mm and a small selection of APS.

To become a better street artist it is a well known fact that photography helps many artists learn new styles

and develop old ones by referring to photographs of street art. Photographs make it easy to study street art with time, obviously because the art is out in public.

Photographers have approached and documented street art in a unique way, preserving and recording it for future reference. Over the past years street art has and still is becoming more and more recognized by the public, artists and photographers. This is providing a significant amount of movement for its ambition, style, look and creativity which have all been pushed up into higher expectations.

Many street artists are interested in photography and carry a camera around with them to record what they see,

along with photographing their own work for future reference.
